A new resource for residents and visitors alike to Monifieth. Situated next to the Blue Seaway playpark the centre offers a cafe with views over the beachfront and the firth of Tay - a welcoming place to meet friends and relax.
Who is it for? It's for everyone! There are opportunities in culture, learning, sport, leisure, health and wellbeing.
About the MAC
Owned by the community of Monifieth, our new centre is run as a social enterprise - which means all profits made are put back into the centre.
The MAC is managed by the Monifieth Community Resource Group (MCRG).
Monifieth Community Resource Group is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), SC035617, regulated by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
Facilities offered include a cafe, a fitness suite and (coming spring 2025) super-fast wi-fi throughout. The main hall has a capacity of up to 300 seats for community events, parties, music gigs, weddings etc. Monifieth's new library will also be housed within the building (also spring 2025), giving access to library services during MAC opening hours.
